Cat Carter graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Queensland in 2006. Upon graduation, she worked in public health in Australia and the UK in both hospital and community settings where she gained experience across a variety of caseloads including mental health, cancer care, orthopaedics, lymphedema, vascular and hands. It was working in hands in a hospital setting that sparked Cat’s interest in hand therapy, and so she made the decision to join EKCO in 2022 to focus on clinical practice in hand therapy. Cat is working towards her full accreditation (AHT) with the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
