Workplace Health and Safety Queensland inspectors will be visiting every medium sized Queensland business to audit safety systems "Are there gaps in your safety system?" Do you need assistance?

In March 2010 Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) inspectors began a 2 year project to audit the safety systems and practices of every one of Queensland’s 7750 medium sized businesses.

WHSQ inspectors have advised that manual task hazards have been selected as the focus for the inspection component of the audit as they are the most commonly occurring hazards in Queensland workplaces and account for almost half of all workplace injuries.
